Packaging

Broken stuff already sucks, let's not make it worse.

Please take the time to package your item properly for shiping.

All monitor chassis must be wrapped well in bubble wrap. Do not use newspaper, brown paper, plastic bags, or any other crushable media.

If your chassis arrived broken due to improper packaging, I reserve the right to refuse the repair and return it to you at your cost, or dispose of it.  It is extremely time consuming to repair a broken PCB, so save your money and wrap it well.

Ship one chassis per box in a box no smaller than 12"x12"x9" and insured. I recommend $250 in insurance using USPS Priority mail or UPS. Too small of a box and too many items in one box are major contributors to breakage.

If you must use packing peanuts, wrap the chassis completely in bubble wrap first. Time spent picking peanuts out of chassis will be billed separately.

I recommend using the USPS "large mailing box" and double boxing. These boxes are free from USPS if you order them online. Hint: UPS doesn't care if you ship something in USPS box.

USPS Flat rate shipping is almost never a good deal and the boxes are just slightly too small for a monitor chassis.
